While having a kick ass new CPU and board, alas, he was stuck with a VooDoo 3 PCI for the time being...suffering a UT withdrawl, he decided to see how the game would play on a 6 year old video card.
Supursingly well.
Using my previous settings of 32bit color, 800x600, AA and AF off, I was able to duel the bot on Idoma averaging around 75 FPS with few noiceable hiccups.
And to prove that this happened, I will make a FRAPS video of this occasion of immense stupidity.
Can't wait for the x800xl to get in
Doc was bored and not that bright, so...

Hate to put down your decision or anything, but I would've gone with the 6800GS instead.
I traded a P4C800-E and a 2.8 Northwood C that I had gotten for free for it.
My total out of pocket costs on the whole upgrade (new mobo, CPU and vid card) will be less than $150
