Today at work...

So, I'm working on an XSLT stylesheet to transform data from a Loan Application to the XML format that the bank requires on their host system.

(Basicly 90% of my job is move this field over there, and get that field and put it back here)

Anyway... Going through the documentation, I've got the logical tags you'd expect in a loan application, most with an obvious meaning, or a description that says what it's for

<AccountNumber>
<FirstName>
<LoanDt>

I just came across one <PerformAnal> with no documentation to say what it's for.

I'd say someone in the data definition department dropped the soap on that one.

:oops:

Haha... that's great. You figure someone must have done that on purpose.
I'm actually guilty of a similar crime... My boss asked to compile some yearly inventory reports to view in a concise format, so I created the:

Annual
Net
Usage
Summary

No one really got it the whole meeting, so I at the end I forced to say something like: "So in conclusion, the Anus looks pretty bad this year. I figure with some extra treatment, it will grow considerably over the next fiscal period."

They fired the only guy that thought it was funny :(
(not for that reason though).
