I'm currently looking for an advanced programmable keyboard/gamepad for another online game. Ive seen a few where the keyboard itself has fully custimizable keybinds, but the binds are for the whole PC and not just one application. The game has limited key binding settings. One thing came in my head but unfortunately it has already been tested and it has a driver problem with the game's camera settings (analog sticks) which causes the camera to continuously turn.
Logitech no longer supports this product it would have been perfect too. So im looking for ideas. It's a shot in the dark, but basically i need to be able to have programmable keys that i can program to actually strike normal letters or F keys on the keyboard.
{EDIT}
I actually found this which is exactly what im talking about. 25 keys that can be slotted to any regualar keyboard stroke. The problem is that I want one that has the keyboard built in so it's not a seperate unit. The image gallery link has a really nice video about it.

{EDIT 2}
Lol so i found one with 36 custom keys. A whopping $200 price tag though. Heres the gimik... The game does not support game binding. Can I say tell G1 to be the key stroke 7 in the software so it does not affect the game?

Re: keyboard/gamepad help
I have a razer keyboard that has extra buttons that can be set up for macros. Not sure how it works really, because I've never tried to use it. Their prices are running $50 - $130 on their site. http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/list/categoryID.35156900
For the black widow:
Macro-Keys & Gaming Mode ensure uninterrupted gaming experience
Expand the amount of easy-to-reach commands with the additional 5 Macro keys on the side and avoid any distractions by switching on the Gaming Mode.
On-The-Fly Macro Recording & Profiles allow Effortless Configuration
Record unlimited macros on-the-fly without having to take your eye off the game and immediately change between up to 10 profiles without the hassle of going into complex driver menus. With the simple click of two buttons you initiate and end the recording and you’re all set.

Steelseries has a bumch of diffrent keyboards.
I recently bought one of their mechanical switch keybaords and it is very well made.
Houdini uses their g7 keyboard and seemed to be very happy with it,
They have a pretty big selection but be warned they are not cheap(unlike your batfriend Sid) be they should last quite a while.

Re: keyboard/gamepad help
The MERC type looks nice. It's practical and doesn't have all the useless bells and whistles. For $40, it's an excellent buy. The main reason for my search is that I really wanted my number row programmed into a 10-key format. Sadly, the standard 10-key can't be programmed in the game I play. The MERC sets it up pretty nice. It's either that or getting a "third-hand" gaming pad. It really comes down to if I want to use my right hand or left hand.
