Almost 2 wks ago power went off for 2 secs but my pc stayed on and I kept working on it. Next morning it wouldn't come on at all. No power to anything so I replaced the psu. Still no fans or anything. Just hibernate light blinking on my pb5. So I ordered a cheap micro board to put in temporarily. Put it in 2nite and everything booting and running great. But lg monitor goes into power save mode after 5 secs so I can't see any post. Using the onboard vid and still same thing. Unplugged and reseated cable on both ends and diff power cord. Soooo taking the monitor to work tomorrow to plug in other pcs. Next will be to try another cable.

definitely sounds like something is screwy in the bios between the onboard video and the installed gpu.
