Hey everyone, My Logitech G5 mouse just arrived and I installed it. But....
Well bear in mind that I've been using a Microsoft wireless intellimouse explorer mouse - which is prolly running at about 800 to 1000 dpi. So when I plugged in my G5 and ran it like I used to run my old G5 2000 dpi all the way up, it was super sensitive, even though I kept my UT sensitivity the same of .57
Should I try bumping it down in the dpi settings to 1800 or 1000 - I forget what they are - so it feels a little less jerky?
Pork I know you use this mouse so fire away.
Anyone that helps me solve this problem will get a free pair of custom made vajamas...LOL

Try seeting you poll rating at 1000 and you might want to check and see where you slider bar is set. Also be damn sure mouse accelaration is turned off IN mouse menu.

Re: Advice on G5 Mouse settings
When all the new mice came out the best thing to do was not install the drivers that came with them and just adjust your in game sensitivity. Think I went from 2.50 to .5 when I switched from a Microsoft mouse to my Razer.

Re: Advice on G5 Mouse settings
I have the G5 as well. My settings are a little different than most.
DPI = 600
In game sensativity = 2.25
Polling rate = 500.
I don't use a mousepad and use quite a bit of deskspace when I play constantly lifting and slamming the mouse down on the desk. Also don't have any of the weights installed.
Most people spectating tell me that my movements make them nauseous
