To the new administration...
Welcome to the real world. although you would think uncle sam would be running the latest and greatest, the world runs on microsoft, not macs.

i can't believe his people didn't know wtf they were doing. there's probably more here that we weren't told.

How comforting. Even my 80 year old grandma figured out how to use her Windows 98 machine. Are they saying this highly educated and completely qualified staff can't? I am PC all the way but if you put me in front of a Mac I'm sure I could figure out how to get to my email .
Re: To the new administration...
Hey get used to whining, griping and the blame game from the new admins. This is only the beginning. Right Pork?

Re: To the new administration...
wait a sec...this was supposed to be based on tech, not politics. the basis of my post was why can't the new administration figure out windows based pc's. that's why i said "i think there's more to this story than what we're being told."

Re: To the new administration...
the fun part is this story has no information.
6 year old MS technology? its not necessarily that its windows, but that it is so outdated... that might as well be 100 years... Windows XP (maybe SP1) and Office 2000? Holy crap that can't even support most modern media file formats!
<flamebait>
And BTW: most design and marketing firms these days ARE using Macs - you know you want one!

exactly. there just seems to be so much they're not telling us. oh and dragn....
<flamebait_bs>
Let them use macs. macs are fine, no question. however, they're ignorant. you can do everything on a pc that you can do on a mac. blame the software makers for that.

Hell yea, one of those new ultra-thin I-Mac's would be a great lap-cooler to set between my dell and my knees.
