You just got to love an article like that. 100% fear mongering and not a shred of useful information beyond what you get in the subject.. "patch available"

How about just a couple of ways to determine if this "big gaping hole" as they put it... has been exploited?

Yea I'll patch... but the patch only plugs the hole, it doesn't "tell me if I need to call my CC company"

exactly. what is the flaw? i'm not questioning the validity and the promptness of the patch, but i would like to know what this "huge gaping hole" is and why people "should run not walk" to install it.

but i guess you have to actually use IE first..hehe

show me a vendor that doesnt do this today. its all about liability unfortunately
