The thought had crossed my mind, but the hard facts that I'm now committed to a two year contract...leaves the desire for a $500 blender a little short (at this time). With as much trouble as I've had with my old phone, I really would like to whip it against the concrete though...

I'd recommend the I-Touch. My creative mp3 player bit it when I flashed it's bios...recommended by both creative and Nyte . They refused to service it since it was older than 4 years. Picked up a 16 gig I-Touch. Built in wifi. It's the same thing as an IPhone without the camera and phone. Verizon has a much better network around here. It runs pretty much all the same apps as the phone. Very cool stuff. I can take this with me on the road to do email rather than lug around the notebook.

Well, almost three weeks in, phone has worked good. Then all of a sudden I stopped being able to make calls with it this weekend. Won't even put you to sleep with the details, but 2.5 hours of monkey business, I was given a "new" phone. The monkey business successfully nuked all my contacts and content, so last night when putting it all back, I was *almost* back to normal when the wifi completely died in the "new" phone.

Holy Cow, my impression of Apple is not good. Three weeks in, I'm going to be on my third phone...ugggh.

Look on the bright side Ace. You got 3 i-phones for the price of one (just not all at one time) but I wonder when the 2nd one acted up did you say "oh crap " or " i crap " ?

Had an I-Phone it crapped out, went to the second one and guess what it crapped out...switched to a Tilt and have loved it ever since so in a way thanks Apple for making me crap!!!!!!!
