Haha. Teamplay leaves a lot to be desired! But, what do you expect when you have tons of strangers in a random server?

I'm having a great time just as run and gun and if I actually get to play as a team that will be enjoyable too. Now I just continually yell at my stupid teammates (who can't hear me). Why do you spawn only to stand there and trap me or wth is up with laying in doorways that people need to walk through? Most of the servers I play on don't have friendly fire and that is a good thing because I unload clips into those bozos! At least it serves one purpose; Lets the opposing team know right where they are :P.

The past weekend I installed 1.3. Only thing it addressed was the ranking system on servers that weren't using it. I guess if you played on a ranking server then went to a non-ranking, your ranks for that time period weren't saved.

I'm looking for the fixes to the server lists. I'd love to see more filters because I hate waiting for the 8000 some servers to refresh. Guess they didn't plan on it being so popular.

As far as I know these are all standard patches; not beta and definitely not alpha. And, the game was enjoyable even in it's demo version for me. I didn't have to pick apart ini files to turn stuff on and off just to be able to see. I don't care for that kind of thing to begin with, and I hate that it had to be done just to play 'normal.' I'm glad that you enjoy UT3 but to me it sounds like it's still in the beta demo stage. Once the kinks are worked out I will try it again, but I don't need the frustration of being a test gamer with a fully released game. Until then, I hope UT2K4 will still be around for me to play with all you guys. I put a gaming headset at the top of my Christmas list!

Really the game play right from the demo was bug free and the settings the game picked for me worked and looked great with no additional tweaking.

If I gave $60 of my hard earned money to buy a game and found that it was a "work in progress" I certainly would not be making furious posts to defend the company. I think maybe it took so long to make UT3 that other games that were a little more original managed to outshine its release.

I think they need to rename it to "Call of Houdi 4"
