Damn, trin pwned my computer now she pwned my mountain bike too. You have the model right above mine.
Don't have a pic of mine but some friends and I mountain bike almost everyweek in landahl park which has everything from hardcore to intermediate trails. I can't do about 5% of the hardcore as I don't have dual suspension and some of it is just too much for me but sure is a lot of fun and a great workout.

Found this pic from that webpage which is funny because it's between 2 big rocks and you are going down on rocks and logs so it's a place I about wiped out on a couple times.
Here is what I have.

I've had mine for at least 4 years and maybe even 6. It hasn't gotten used anywhere near as much as it should . This year I'm making a real effort to change that. In fact, Ace and I rode 34.5 miles a couple Saturdays ago. Can't say as I'll ever do it again, but I did it once!
When I ride my lower back starts to hurt and my butt gets quite sore. So any tips are more than appreciated because I am a riding noob.

I agree pwt for general riding. I wanted a hardtail so I could ride on the streets with the kids and on roads easier but if you are in mountain biking territory forget about it. A hard tail will end up making you feel like you spent a night in prison with houdini.
