I haven't said anything bad about it, I just question the claim why it's the "best" card out there (price wise).

Where was this card around Christmas time?

The card will play every game out there now. I would have looked at it when I was building my system last month had it been out. Looking at the numbers, I'm not disappointed I bought when I did. In three years when my system won't play the latest games, waiting for this card, would not have given me any more longevity the what I currently have, bottom line.

It's not a revolutionary card like you are making it out to be, it's inline with what's currently out there....and has been for months.

omg ace participating in a hardware thread..... Is this a sign of the end times?

I pulled the numbers from Tom's Hardware.
I used 1280x1024 resolution because that is what I run at although other resolutions produced similiar results.
The GTS card was the 640 version and the price I posted reflects that.

All of you need to go play with your own equipment (like Sid does ) and quit bickering.

I have not run 3D'06 yet, but here is my very first result with 3D'05, no overclock on video cards because I don't have 8-Pin PCI-Express power.

What I got out of the picture, is that I scored 4000 more points than your precious 640MB GTS... Now you're resorting to personal attacks...

Nonsense. I did nothing of the kind. I merely posted my perceptions of your post, inviting others to comment upon them.

8)

Besides, I don't have a 640MB GTS... I do have an 8 MB Creative Labs MA 302.
