Blade extended awaiting the spastic movement that led to Houdini's bloody issue.

Well the 500GB Caviar drive is nowhere in sight but the Raptor has already made a friend.

like a swift kick in the nuts I saw a Raptor X 150GB drive at Best Buy for 199. Now I paid 302 for the retail and 229 for the OEM and they have the retail for 199??? Did I get a newer revision from new egg or just ripped?

The case came a day early and it is freaking huge. It’s the Lian Li Goliath G70 so I figured it would be big but it is really big!

How is the build going Houdini ?
It only took you 30 minutes to ge the side panel off last night
so I was wondering where you are at now.

So I called in sick to both jobs today, well the restaurant called my bluff and made me do a lunch delivery. Anyway I had some time with it and here is where I am at:

Also I love the HD rack that came with the case. It has a cool Raptor X display front but it is swappable by removing two thumb screws so I could grab the drives and go if I like.

I got the computer up and running with no issues at 2am last night. The BIOS flash was easy and the raid setup also. Rom thanks for the RAID stripe info I did choose 64k. Windows install took about an hour which seemed like forever. Probably the coolest thing I was able to notice last night was when windows loaded on the first swipe of the windows Knight Rider looking startup and it was at desktop. see you guys tonight and thanks for all the advice and listening to me talk about geek crap while others just want to blow me up.

Ok so I have things going along quite well and installed ut last night and am configuring it now. I have grown to xoxoxoxo my 2GB flash drive it has been great in the BIOS and general transistion. The video card is unbelievable considering I paid more for my 9800XT by almost 200 bucks. I am going to keep the system stock until next week and if there are no issues I will jump into the water cooling. If there is anyone that is not sick of me posting pics I am going to put a few more up tonight. I just bought an Antec Spot cool fan at Best Buy and for the 16 bucks it pretty sweet. You can screw the thing in almost anywhere on or around the mobo (i got mine in the mobo tray) and then the long stem it is on bends to where you need it. Cool blue LED in it also. :P Well I hope to see some people on tonight it has been a bit since I have made any TS pudding pop refferences.
