Quake 3 Arena

Postby Soulja » Tue Jul 11, 2006 5:29 pm

Anyone have this?

I'm going to start playing it. It's a lot of fun and I can see where UT got some of its inspiration. Oh, and I like campgrounds in Q3, much better version :).

lol

Ok I only said that because I played it for years and loved it. Everything UT is comes from ideas generated from Q1/Q2. Loved Q3. Lots of the pro's who used to play UT2004 before everyone left a year ago were Q3 transfers.

Q3 is a pretty good game... Played it for a bit, and it was ok.

The thing is, if I was going to go back 7 years in PC gaming technology, I'd play UT99, and probably half-life before Q3...

Q3 had good balance and map design, but it always had a blah factor for me that kept it from being addictive (for whatever reason, I thought Q1 and Q2 were more fun).

Yeah me neither but that was just because it scarred the shit out of me and I only could play when I had some friends over.
