There is pain in truth... call it a truthache...

I'd say about 87% of the time, my mouse jumps right to the 'there are x new messages since your last visit' link...

8% of the other time, I look under that to see who's reading what.

The rest of the time I read the announcements...unless they're the same as 5 minutes ago...

I think few read it but it would still be cool to have some kind of front page. Maybe instead of forum stuff it would be more news/latest events/or just the logo with a little appy that ran screenshots of our empty server(s).

I've seen some UT2004 clans that show things like current maps on server, who's on teamspeak etc...

those things would be the bees leg joints...
