A happy discovery about my new rig

Apparently the conflict between the mobo and sound card was resolved before delivery. So I was pleasantly surprised to find it came with an x-fi card installed.

Yay!

Great news Deadly. If you get the x-fi drivers in there you will hear things you have never heard. Also, there is a patch ut2004 for x-fi users that adds all new sounds. They all have special effect sounds that you can only activate if you have an x-fi. I had mine on for a while, pretty impressive but very noisy. I need to hear lizard footsteps sneaking around so I took them off after a couple months but fun to try out none the less.
