so there's this new computer i built for an A+ Class, and i got a case w/PSU for free, and a motherboard for free.
The PSU is a "400 watt" PSU..
+3.3V is 15A
+5V is 30A
+12V is 15A
now, the card i ordered is *just* a 7900 GS, but i am thinking i am going to have to shell out at least 50 bucks for a new psu? the mobo isnt sli, and i am still unsure whether i should sell this computer or use it for myself
now if i use it for myself, i can use the psu that is in my current computer
with
+3.3V is 20A
+5v is 25A
+12V1 is 12A
+12V2 is 10A
i am a bit unfamiliar with this, but +12V1 and +12V2 are added together to make 22A (it says 38A at peak) or is this wrong?
psu and 7900gs
