transformers 2 woohoo...
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/transfo ... he_fallen/
22% rating out of 100 on the tomatometer....
excerpt from one review:
And yet, despite having lowered the artistic bar to Death Valley levels, director Michael Bay has somehow managed to figure out a way to slither beneath with the flexibility of the pole dancers-in-training that he prefers to hire as his female extras. This isn’t just the worst of the summer mega-movies--this utterly incoherent craptacular is one of the worst things of any type to come along in a while.
sorry Sid...hope you liked it regardless.

Re: transformers 2....
I see reviews all over the map on this one.
This one was pretty good.
When Anvil sang Metal on Metal, they must have been referring to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This is the loudest, most obnoxiously jarring collection of images ever strung together in the form of a motion picture. It's an unnecessary blender mix of flying car parts and human screams that only stops moving for the occasional bad joke. Clocking in it at nearly three hours, it feels like a giant slap in the face. Followed by a leather belt whip crack to the nether regions. Its sadomasochistic cinema at its finest. There are going to be those who love it, and those who hate it with every ounce of their being. But know this: There has never been anything quite like it. And only Michael Bay could have produced such an elegant cacophony. It's an ass-blasting. A cobalt symphony of screeching tires manufactured to numb your senses in every way possible. It will burn your eyes. And it will unblock your sinuses. Yeah, it's nothing short of a hell sent miracle.

actually they weren't too bad on the first one....
57% out of 100 on the tomatometer

the fallen tomatometer is down to 21% now...it will still probably make money because of the fanbase being so big

Re: transformers 2....
I'm gonna like it, even if it's bad......ta da da da da da duh If I only had a brain. Everyone knows were not talking about a movie like Rainman or Forrest Gump. It's a mega spectacular action movie. I loved the first one and I feel quite certain that I will get what I came for in the second - shiny hollywood action. I too will be the judge, when I see it - but for me they'd have to really F it up for it not to be good!
BTW Ace could u please make the image bigger next time...lol. I love scrolling sideways!

Re: transformers 2....
actually, 95% of the bad reviews i've read have been from critics. the vast majority of people that see the movie and comment about it have loved it. they say it's not perfect, but they say it's phenomenal. they say it's robots vs. robots this time rather than transformers 1 which was humans vs. robots.
the biggest complaint i've herd from critics is that the movie is missing the human element.
it's a transformers movie!!!

Re: transformers 2....
well, that and everyone, esp the critics, dont seem to realize this isnt a rehash of the original carotton series...its a remake with specific glaring differences that anyone with a history to the original storylines can see...
this set of movies is, as pro said....mainly action and graphix....with rewrites and adaptations to make it fit what the writers and producers wanted to have in it...
there is just the common ideal that cars/vehicles turn into robots and fight...this isnt supposed to be duplication of the originals...critics seem to keep missing that....LOL
