Wow! The server has been FULL for hours!

Sid told me there is already a UTcomp, and I'll be looking for mods like ReservedSlots and such soon... if you can't get in until then... I'm sorry!

mutators are running and w0W!!!! after a game with dragn and 2 or three others i actually came away tired. it was crazy. give it a go!!!

It runs very nice. I was just in there a few minutes ago and there was just one other player in there and he left after I fragged him about 4 times in a row.
The mutators are fun!! The Thor lighting gun kicks ass!!
I would suggest leaving a bot in there that people can play against until others show up.

Just tried to get on and it was loading a map file ,I think, called barge and it was downloading very slowly.

barge is one of the maps in the titan pack eh. you shouldn've have had to download it.

PD thanks for all your hard work and you too Sid. I love it especially considering that I totally f'd Sid up the whole time....me and Pork both. I know he is ashamed and crying in the fetal position right about now. The only thing I can think of to add is maybe a very large bucket for Sid's tears.

I rreinstalled the Titan patch but still did not see the Brge map in instant action.
Was it on a ealer expansion pack ?

the map you're looking for is called KBarge and it should be part of UT3 if you have installed the titan pack.

hey guys,

nyte pointed out the improvements in the sniper rifle in version 2.0 over the demo. i've tried it out and the weapon reloads so much faster than the LG. i can't say yet if does 70 HP of damage, but i can say it's just as accurate as the 2k4 LG. perhaps we don't need the Thor LG.

I've set the UT3 server back to the sniper rifle and i would encourage you guys to give it a shot and post your feedback.

I'll start....ut3 definitely has it's share of in your face weapons. since i am a huge fan of the thor LG, it's hard for me to say that UT doesn't need this weapon. but i'm not sure if it does. for me, the biggest deal with the sniper was that it was so efffing slow to load ammo in the demo. now it loads tons faster than the 2k4 LG. and with the flak, rox, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overpowered mini, and goop, i'm not sure that ut3 needs a crazy hella cool weapon that dominates like the thor LG. i don't think the TLG(thor LG) is as accurate as the sniper rifle, but with the sniper you can't just lasso players and toss them off the maps into space like they're filler.

as i said, i set the ut3 server back to sniper. we've all played with the TLG, give your review.

I like the TLG but it does seem overpowered and is not near the stealth weapon that the LG is in 2k4. The sniper seems to fit better with the power of the other weapons and headshots seem easier as well.

When I'm using the TLG I don't feel like I have control of the weapon either, though I guess that could be mastered over time.
