UT3 Requirements

Apparently Midway had somewhat of a correspondence with this guy, and he is a gaming journalist, so it must be true. Anyhow...*drumroll*

UT3 System Requirements:
Minimum System Requirements
• Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
• 2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor
• 512 Mbytes of System RAM
• NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card
• 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Recommended System Requirements
• 2.4+ GHZ Dual Core Processor
• 1 GBytes of System RAM
• NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card
• 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Looks like I'll be playin UT3 with maximum settings...

Recommended System Requirements
• 2.4+ GHZ Dual Core Processor (2.4 quad thank you very much!)
• 1 GBytes of System RAM (Maximum 32-bit vista allows *cough*)
• NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card (yeah... atsuck *cough*)
• 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space (wut?)

How could these min requirements be so much lower than Bioshock when it uses the same engine?

Texture resolutions and filtering used on the maps. # of static mesh's involved

Arg... I'm running with a 2.0 Ghz dual-core processor, Geforce 7600, and 2GB RAM on a laptop... I'll be lucky to run that game on normal settings. Hell that's all I can run UT2k4 on without my fps dropping to 30 and below.

I have an ASUS 7800GT I'd like to sell. Never been OC'd.

Will let it go for a very reasonable price.
