Bought a new seat today. Instead of gel it is memory foam. Came with a 90 day comfort guarantee so I have plenty of time to make sure it's a move in the right direction. Yay!

You might take your bike into a reputable dealer too and ask him about handlebar and seat height for your back issues. Good luck on the seat. If that doesn't work I have a couple that may.

Don't forget the playing card and clothes pin for your spokes.
I think Sid did that for his wheelchair.

Well we went for a 25.5 mile ride on Monday and my butt was a bit tender by the end. My back wasn't too bad though. Go figure. Hopped on the bikes last night and could definitely notice the buttock tenderness. It didn't hurt anywhere near what it did after the 34 mile ride but it was shorter and I've been riding more. I'm not convinced one way or the other yet.
