Upgrading to Vista Ultimate as soon as my backup completes.

If you hear screaming comming from the direction of Florida, you'll know God chose to punish me tonight.

You are a brave man law. Contrary to popular belief, i don't believe vista is bad. i just think the software and hardware vendors haven't done their share of homework to keep up with the latest OS. They will have too sooner or later. It's only a matter of time. Just like we will all be running Vista or it's successor one day.

I'm sure they'll iron out the issues fairly soon, because, if I'm not mistaken, it was much the same with XP when it first came out. I bet tons of people are going to upgrade when the first DX10 game comes out.

(working now on the laptop, while I watch desktop upgrade at currently 50% and climbing)

According to compatability matrix, I should only have trouble with keyboard drivers and video drivers :O

Well I've not had a chance to do much yet, but it's installed.

Processor 5.0
Memory 5.9
Graphics 5.9
Gaming Graphics 5.3
Primary Hard Disk 5.9

Base Score 5.0

UT Works, but my mouse sens is futzd...Experimentation required
Teamspeak works, now that my microphone has been configured

Had a problem with long (9+ minute) reboots, but that seems to have gone away with a re-install of AVG, and an updgrade of my Ximeta Netdisk drivers.

More as I figure it out

Well so far I'm happy with the upgrade.

Everything I've tried so far has worked except the Divx Converter, which crashes.

There's still a few things I've not messed with tho.

Vista does seem to like more RAM though... I may have to get more
