Just picked this up tonight...

I just picked this baby up tonight. A Michael Kelly 5 String Fretless Acoustic Bass.

Its absolutely beautiful and the finish is gorgeous.

Though I must admit, I prefer my guitars to be made of air, that looks like a fine instrument...

It sounds amazing. The upper register on the E string is slightly off but thats an action setting that I could change. Other than that, a beautiful instrument.

Speaking of bass's and bassists.... Are you a Geddy Lee fan? Chris Squire?

You have to listen to the solo section in Freewill again if you have never really appreciated Geddy. Listen to it near the end of the vamp near the final bridge/chorus. He is going off. Also La Villa Strangiato is a monster.
