Tribal Instinct

Hey everyone, just wondering what the direction of the Ti clan is. Is everyone going to mainly play UT3 or will there be nights of UT2004 as well?

Personally I think UT3 pales in comparison to UT2004 but I come here for the people anyway, not the game.

Anyway, just wondering. Prozac

Ut3 is fun for a while but it seems every map is a spamfest.
Persoally the novelty is wearing off for me.
It is like playing Ironic in ut2004 with 20 players and no friendly fire with graphics of about a 1/3 of what ut2004 has. The weapons are kind of fun in ut3 maybe because they are just diffrent from what I am used too.
I will play both but I will play more 2004 than ut3

Patch or no patch....it's nowhere near as good as the gameplay in 2004.
I'm still not sold on ut3 and I have no plans of dedicated playing it.
I'd be more willing to look at another fps than ut3. Personally I still love playing 2004.

I feel just like this. Myxx took the words right out of my mouth, and Pork basically did too. When you are used to playing a game that requires the level of skill as UT2004, UT3 just feels dumb. I think UT3 is just a novelty - a game you go play when you're bored. It has lots of eye candy, and the weapons are cool looking and stuff, but any game I can go in and just spam up 15 to 30 kills . . . well that says it all - cause I'm Prozac with average skills at best.

I too would be more willing to look at another fps than ut3 . . . maybe Serious Sam 2!

My 2 cents - again. Prozac

as i have said before they dumbfounded the game for console players because they would be over matched by pc users who could snipe and hit with lg and shock very well. the game does not have the control management as UT2004, and is all about rockets and flak and who can spam the most which is why I liked 2k4. While the patch did help in a few ways it did not make it a better game I would rather play COD4 than UT3 and that's sad.

Ya I agree the eye candy is great and certainly some kewl maps. But every match seems like spam fest.
