moving on...

well, it would seem there is no clear answer to the issue of what new game we as a klan/family can focus on...

i see 3 problems...

1-not all of us are accepting of the imment change that MUST happen in order for us to survive...stagnant things die...we beome compacent, we will 2

2-there are lots of different ideas of entertainment and fun here aka interestes (ie game types and styles)...nothing wrong with this, its the way it is, human nature...our freedom of choice and unique personalities...no all of us are going to want to move on to the same thing...

3-simply reality...some of us may be able or in a position to afford the better equipement and higher demanding games that others cant...nting bad here either, as i said, just reality...

sadly, i see the group at a crossroads...some of us are tired of the game itself...same types over and over...others are just 'growing up'...i did not say maturing mind you (sid)...priorities are changing, and games take a lower rung on the ladder then they used to...

some of us have left on a variety of pretenses, and to the members that were my friends, i miss them...i miss their company...hell with the game, for me its about the people...OMG, 4 example, how many of us old skool members miss doc? LOL...he was a great personality...

anyways, i digress...

im not leaving, nor do i intend to leave...but i know as choices are made and people move on (in gaming or lyfe) people will fall away for one reason or another...so, here is my attempt at trying to rally a crowd

and im not approaching it head-on, ima shoost this in the back, 2

i, and anyone else who want 2, should post here the games you may be interested in or have been following, and the ones you may intend to buy, or at least try out...then maybe we can save this by creating a few splintered groups of people who still hub at the same place, and can keem in touch...friends are hard to find, and i truly value the ones i have made in this community...

thanks dragn, for all your work, effort, and finances that have made this possible (even though takes an act of congress from 2 different terms to get u 2 do anything....LOL, its not like ur busy)......and thanks to the community who came before and made such a great gaming place and place to hang out.

<3 Nyte

games im following, currently playing, or intend on at least trying or buying--->

-Fallout 3
-GRID
-Warhammer: Dawn of War 40000 II
-Starwars: Force Unleashed
-the next Duke Nukem
-possibly a MMORPG, there are some good free ones out there....heck, maybe even GW, lol

-im also open to almost any game, so, if i see an iteresting title, i may try that 2...remember, games are my hobby, and its all this cripple can do...LOL

post ur ideas...then some of us can still hang and have fun!!

ya, i meant for PC, no consoles...

and what iz '42' in reference 2? im konfuzed worse then normal... :?

Rom: u havent bought GRID? u still on the demo? and yes, i play online some already, but it depends....its hard to find a good game, and there are alot of cheaters and crashers online at the moment...they need to get some anti-cheat programs for it, and maybe make a UT2K4 style browser that keeps buddies and such...i think a klan wide demo derby would be a blast!!

Just a minor fracture, have to stay off it, but should heal in a few weeks.

I still spend way too much game time playing Anarchy Online
other than that I'll do sudoku on my EEE PC while in the car
or jewel quest on my phone if I'm in an airport.

I'm playing UT2k4 because it's the only game that I really like to play online.

It's not about rig system requirements for me. I think my rig will handle anything out there at the moment. I really only like FPS so far. the RPG and RTS game types never much caught my fancy.

I'd certainly be open to find other games to play too. And, I assume that I'll still be playing 2k4 when you younger guys start graying the way that I have.

Of course, Ti has been a wonderful source of friendship and camaraderie for me, too. Otherwise, I'd have been gone long ago.

I have actually uninstalled UT2k4 and will not return. There are multiple reasons however I may return online elsewhere. Unlike pork who spent $400 on a graphics card (Im not saying this is bad) I may be saving my loose change for a ps3. For the money, I'd rather have a PS3 than an HD graphics card because most PC games are still limited to SD engines. For the same price, I can get a PS3 which also has blue-ray. Either way a PS3 will allow me to fully utilize my 46" HD TV. I have other priorities so I define loose change as what I find within the couch cushions...

Sorry guys...

thats 2 bad...ya, at least check in every so often, klown...

back to this topic ---> im not sure some people understand what i was trying to do...
i was hoping that people would post/list games THEY were interested in (for PC), so we can see if there were going to be any similarities for the future...dont suggest a game, just list what ur looking forward 2, and maybe some of us can still goof off online in other games

and law, hello kitty's island adventure is and OLD game, so that wont count

:D

Sorry guys...

Well you will be missed Clown. I play the game for both the companionship and the game itself. I only spent 280 on the grpahics card and sold my 8800gts and it was even cheaper.
I am not sure what other issues you have but I really enjoyed the time we had playing together. You still have a good computer so why not play ? Anyway it will be cold day
before I decide on a console over a PC .
Please stay in touch.
