Well to most companies that means "by the end of Q1" ;)

That's most companies
The most believable one I've seen is 30/3/07, and even that one seems unlikely. :?

wait a sec, not only is that not the end of Q1, it's also also a very unceramonial launch to a very unhyped game. :?:

Well... I've shaken it like 20 times, but the answer keeps coming up the following:

I don't think I will either. My hardware is starting to grow long in the teeth, I will need an update on proc and RAM before moving to next gen games. And that won't happen for a while, too busy/lazy. =) Still haven't gotten around to putting in the sound card I acquired last summer haha.

Yeah... sadly I will probably be in the same boat. :(

My PC is definitely starting to age, and I doubt it is going to run UT2K7 at playable frame rates (if Quake 4 was any indication, I'm pretty much screwed).
Problem is, I've been running VERY tight financially lately and it's pretty tough to justify to the wife: "Sorry honey, you have to buy the off-brand Mac & Cheese so I can afford to plop another gig of Ram into my online gaming beast."

I'll see how the demo runs on my current hardware first, but if it ends up being a slide show, there isn't much point in buying the game until I can upgrade.

...

Unless it has a REALLY badass manual... Then I might buy it anyways. dunno.

My PC is over three years old. :(

Unless Pork wins the lotto and follows through with getting me a new machine, I won't get it. I don't game enough anymore to justify spending 1.5K on new equipment (that's 3-4 months of hookers...double...if I don't care what they look like) and I'm pessimistic that the game will be better. I'm still of the opinion it's all eye candy and they ruined what makes it UT.
