I show mine so I can see which ones I have and how much ammo is left.

i show my weapons because i switch weapons A LOT. way to often to know what weapon is selected. IMO, the weapon selector at the bottom is too hard to look at and see what you're using so having the weapons in the HUD makes sense for me.

Ok that was much better Sid. I think I mislead everyone on this thread. I meant do you actually show the weapon in your hand, not in the hud. I've kept mine hidden for years and use a set of color coded crosshairs so I'll know which weapon I'm currently using.

Does this make sense now? Sorry for the confusion, but I'm not talking about the HUD here, just what's in your hand................

yeah dude, i show them in my hand. IMO the HUD is worthless. i think it's hard to see when action is going on around you.
