My opitmism is still pretty dampened. The article didn't mention the major reservation that I have, which is that the movement, dodges and jumps will be slowed and diminished considerably to allow the console players to compete with PC players online. I hope I'll be surprised pleasantly.

The game will be fine. I saw a lot of the same type of posts over ut2003 and 04. Some people will like it and some won't. That is why there are servers out there still running ut99 and 03.
