Pork if you are running firefox, install these add-ons: Ad Block Plus, Ghostery, and BetterPrivacy.

Ad Block Plus does what it says, blocks add, and it does a pretty damn good job.
Ghostery tells you what web-trend analyzers are watching you surf the internet and specifically that website. You can then block them by opening the menu. It also gives you information about them if you don't know what they are. For example, the clan website has the Google Analytics crawler running.
BetterPrivacy does a much more thorough job of deleting cookies and temp files when you close your browser.

Have fun surfing!
