Yeah this is pretty bad American's in general are in trouble and they are making Billions.

Exxon's profit margin is 9 %. Figure how much they had to spend to make that money.
Good news if you have their stock. McDonald's and Coke have a lot higher profit margin than the oil companies.
What a shame that an American company made a profit . What do they think they are ?

Last time I looked, I didn't need a Coke or McDonald's earn a living. I own lots of Exxon stock, but it still doesn't come remotely close to keeping up with prices. I'm all for capitalism, that's why can't wait to see innovation beat the sh*t out of big oil. Oil's got too much money to stomp out innovation, so it will never happen, but I can always hope.
