UT 2k4...everything on high...and have it run smoother and faster then ever...I'm in heaven :shock: see everyone tonight cause im getting drunk in celebration of my new PC woooooooooooooooo....

Yeah.... I've seen this discussed on Tech forums before.

Depending on what your system specs are, and where your bottleencks are, jacking up system settings can have virtually no effect on performance (it will run at almost the same FPS). My guess is that it isn't actually running faster, but because everything looks so much sharper, it "feels" smoother.

You can run a 'stat fps' to confirm though.
