Fallout 3 pre-war books

Postby Porkinator » Tue Mar 09, 2010 9:39 am

If any of you play Fall Out 3 you will run across these pre-war books scattered throughout the Wasteland . These are books that survived the nuclear war 200 years before the story begins. There are a total of 98 of them total in some of the most out of the way places and I have tried several times to get all 98 of them.
I finally found the last one last nite .

10 are in Minefield 10 are in Arlington library where the quest begins.
6 in the National Guard depot.
The rest are scattered in groups of 2 or 3 and a lot of singles in raider shacks
office buildings subway tunnels and sewer stations.

Actually rhe hardest one is in the National Archives.
3 are on tne bottom floor that can easily be scattered if you
let the Super Mutant set off the land mine beside them.
I will usually shoot his head off at point blank range with a combat shotgun so this doesn't happen.
The other one is one floor up on a bookcase but vertical next to the book case support and very hard too see.
That was the one I have been missing most of the time.
The trickiest one is there is a overhead highway bridge near the Temple of the Union that will not appear until you lead
the slaves to the Lincoln Memorial then raiders move in and leave one of the table so you have to go
up there and wipe them all out before you can get it.

Ok Cloud you have a new computer and you have no excuses not to get back
on the servers and TS.
Where the hell are you?
And if you think you going to catch some grief over Vegas you damn straight you will.
There is way too much good stuff there to leave alone.
