Ernie

Postby Porkinator » Mon Sep 28, 2009 6:27 pm

Some of you may know that Ernie who is a regular on the servers is due to undergo triple bypass surgery tomorrow. Ernie says it will take 3 operations (two on his heart and one on his legs to increase bllod flow there) and he has given his son my email adress
so depending how often I get information on his condition i will post it in this thread.
We all hope and pray that things go well for him and Ernie told me he has one of the best doctors would gave him a 97% chance of recovery.
He is not a spring chicken by any means and is a couple of years older than me(hard to imagine) so it is going to be rough on him.
So I will post any info here as I get it.

Someone older than you Dad? Didn't know that was possible.

On a serious note I will be thinking of Ernie. I've played with him for like...4 or 5 years. He's a great guy.
So keep us posted Porky, and thx for doing this too.

Got this from Steve today.
Dad seems to be doing better than average so they moved him from ICU to a regular room. He is still pretty medicated and not talking much. They want to do some PT on him.......but I think that it will be minimal since he still hasn't had surgery on his legs and the other alternitive is a hand bike. They don't want to do the hand bike because of the pressure on the chest. I dunno if this the is correct addy.......so e-mail me back so I know that you are gettingf these. ernie also made mention of some tweaks that you did to your game. If you could e-mail me that I could tweak his game before he came home.....thx..........hypersteveO

Ok Ernie it's time for you to get all better and come own us again. I've given you a nickname: "The Creeper" because you're such a great clutch player and you have this uncanny ability to sneak up on and frag even the greatest of players! :D 8)

My prayers go out to you and your family, Ernie. Get well soon. -------> Prozac
