i'm ignorant when it comes to motorcycles, but are those pipes nickel or chrome?

Went to the dragstrip for the first time with the Z1000 today and had a pretty good time. I managed to run an 11.886 @ 117.72MPH. For comparison sake my Camaro can get a 13.488 @ 102.93MPH, and my Z750S ran 12.239 @ 115.69MPH. I know the bike would be much faster with a different rider, but it was a lot of fun.
