It's worth it to download the demo...

If for no other reason, this will give you a relatively accurate view of how well your rig will be able to run UT3.

Downloaded the demo to check it out, problem is I got Madden 08 the same day...football trumps everything.

Don't get me wrong, all Madden does is add a couple things and update rosters (at least the clowns can make a deadline), but at 1920x1600 on a 24" monitor :shock:

It's like getting a hummer, while continuing to watch strippers on the stage.

Maybe someday I'll give a try, but right now the Lions are 2-0 and CJ is a stud...

It's the unreal 3 engine rom lol

Yes got it the day it came out because it's the same devs as the Thief and System Shock series. Great game so far.

Rom has a new wide screen LCD which may affect his judgement.

Thats not what i call a nice game,all texture seem to be like plastics,no deep in the picture,very dark we see nothing at all,my comp run the game very good everything is set to maximum sething and i dont go under 50 fps.

I dont like the texture at all,if you compare them to half life 2 episode 1 and far cry we have a lot more detail on the screen so to me if thats what the engine of unreal 3 gonna give us they still have a lot of work to do.

Gamespot reports some rather unsettling technical issues on some systems with Bioshock,

including a total lack of sound on some systems. So I'm downloading the demo now so I can test compatibility before I buy.

It's also recommended that one install nVidea's latest beta drivers before installing the game.

Good find, Ace. I'll never use anything that uses SecuROM. That includes Unreal 3 should they be so stupid.
