We have had some pretty big wars over politics here and it is best to leave it alone in the interest of harmony among friends. There are plenty of other places where you can post your political points of view on the web. I actually enjoyed the political debates. I don't think that the signal-to-noise ratio in the forums just has been the same since that subject was closed. For all the 'big bad ugly' they did keep everyone interested.

i respectfully disagree. there's no doubt that everyone wants what is best for our land. far too often emotions became part of the conversations. what happened on the forums is only part of it.
