I've had AVG for the last year as my antivirus/firewall and it has sucked ass. So I'm not renewing it.
What's the BEST free firewall I can get off the internets?? Any of your guys supreme knowledge with computers would be most appreciated!!

Hmm linux for someone computer illeterate like cloudy ? Hehe jk cloud. But if your not famaliar with systems, linux can be troublesome, I myself have never really messed with it basically just never wanted to bother when I have the infallable windows (har har har).
Didnt read the actually links so not actually sure if the anti virus (second link?) you posted are only linux compatible or if they are cross platform anyways. I am too tired to read this morning lol.

Re: New help with my computer guys:
hey pork, why don't you try to figure out how to shut your pc down, using the command prompt. better yet, do it in 11 seconds.
that should keep you busy for a while. oh yeah, and you can't use the internet.

Well ClamAV was available for Windows, but it looks like the current version is deprecated while they are working on a new one. *shrug* You could install linux and not worry about the AV software... =) Plus UT2k4 runs on linux natively.
