Law's search for the perfect gaming headset

Looking for a set of headphones / microphone for Teamspeak.
Ideally, I need a set that can cancel out the 70's music my wife listens to.
Any ideas?

I have had my plantronics for about 2 years now and the only issue is my own doing; I managed to suck the cords up with the vacuum so the jack is kind of touchy.
I would stay away from USB at all costs.

I've had a set of those for quite a while and enjoy them. made my plantronics sound like dixie cups and string
newegg.

i use AltecLansing...
lil bit pricey, but nyce...
i think they have a $50 or so model thats good...rall has that 1

Once again, I'm back to thinking about headphones
I'd really like to get a set with active noise cancelling...
with 3 comps, a tower fan, and a wife who loves music...i'm in a noise rich environment..
