It sells for 600 with a 16 ms response time. Why so expensive ?

apple is a major name brand...thats y they sell crap for 4x the worth, and make it all outta spare parts

They are not made for gaming or response time, they are made for color reproduction. Thats why they use IPS instead of MVA/PVA which is made for brightness and response time. If you price compare IPS to IPS panel, the Apple versions aren't the most expensive out there.
