I agree....why couldn't Turtle Beach have come out on top.

They're still around...the quality on there cards was always better than creative although it looks like creative has started to outperform them.

Creative's drivers always had problems back in the dos days.....complete crap.

Well most of us our running some crappy flavor of windows....guess I shouldn't be too suprised creative became dominant. :wink:

Ok, I read the article. Even went and found out wtf ALchemy is.

I don't see how it relates to your comment?

So microsoft moved sound drivers from kernel-mode to user-mode, and creative didn't like it?

Ok you're assuming that by the time they get the drivers done there will still *be* audigy users... but I see the point now.

I "think" there are still sblive users out there in the millions and that's the iteration before audigy.
