I have start to have problem whit my damn video card ,i have send an email to evga,so i want you all the follow the situation, and to help me in the way i have write my letter ,the frenchy is not the best in english

Hello Jacob its Romain from Quebec Canada

You have send me already 2 card on cross shipping in the last 5 months. The 3rd card i have receive was working correctly until last friday night.I have seen a lot of bad slow down of fps in games and that never have hapen before.

Like i have told you in the last email i have send you 3 months ago,the card was making lot of noise in 3d mode, but was running correctly so you have sugest me to keep it that way and a new revision will get out a bit later.

Ok fist of all in those 3 months the only drivers i was able to run correctly was the 84.43 i have try few more drivers but was crashing or i was having bad performance in almost every games il play. And i wasnt able to run 3 d mark 06.

So last friday i was playing Quake 4,And i have start to have a very big lost of fps,so i have check out the computer to be sure everything was fine ,but i dint fine nothing at all,but just to be sure i have made a fresh reinstall of windows and that dint fixed up the problem.

So i have start to make few test and all my score have failed in every test i have done.

3D Mark 06 i have run deep freeze in a loop 10 times and after the 5fh times i have start to have artifact when the card have reach near 56 c and i have also start to have black line in the screen and the screen was flashing when does line appear on the screen but the test have always continue without crashing. All the mistake i have seen in the begening of the 5 row have been there in all the other row the test have run.

In Quake 4 i have lost almost 40% of my regular perfomance, and it was running very choppy

I have try 3D Mark 05 the test have run correctly but i have lost more than 1000 points in the final score.

I have try Aquamark 3 i was running this test at 131.000 points but now i am running betwwen 96.000 to 121.00 and cant reach higher score.

So i was wondering if theres a new imporved revision of this 7900gtx ,and if yes is there a way to make a cross shipping like we have done in the last 2 case, cuz i dont really feel to loose my comp for 2 to 4 weeks.

If theres no new revision what can we do to solve this problems once for all.You know 3 cards have failed in 5 months thats not normal,so i will appreciated to have a reply fast as possible i know you are doing your best to have everyone happy about the situation but to be honnest i'm not very happy at the moment.I have buy this card to have pleasure whit it and enjoy my new computer my card have cost me near $650 canadian have pay $60 for 2 cross shipping and $75 of duty at the Canadian border.

I think thats to mutch money for a single video card at the moment that have cost me $785 and i still dont have a video card who run like she most do it.

Thanks for your support Jacob i know its not your fault but i need a solution to this mather

Romain Morrissette

So at the moment i am waithing for a reply

Man I hate to see that happen. You put so much cash into that to build a leet system and to have that happen not just once but over and over realy sucks.
I am gonna stick to ATI from now on.
I have some complaints from my customers about the Nvdia cards as well.

So that means it is not limited to just EVGA.
Let us know how he likes the x1900xtx.

Rom, was his already going bad or is he just doing this because yours did?

BFG has a much better customer service dept. than evga and the 7900gtx is faster in many cases than the 1900xtx.

The card have run very good for 2 weeks and have start to have artifact in all the games he play, exactly the same problem that i have ,he have call bfg support and they have told im the problem was the mobo cuz it was an asus (just bullshit). So Future Shop make refund if you dint have it more than 30 days so he will have a refund and buy an ati,he wont buy a x1900xtx he gonna buy a x1950 xtx

Ok strike that. I'm never using bfg again. I did once and they seemed good with my old 6800gt.

^^^ Took me a minute, but I found your problem... right there.

Before you jump to any "technically defective" conclusions, this could simply be a classic case of graphics card protest.

... I'm just saying, don't rule it out completely.

lol... Beer you stop it! You wouldn't have ut today without quake. Sadly I loaded q4 up hoping for a nostalgic run though fps past. Unfortunately it didn't cut the mustard.

Things have progressed far beyond our lower expectations. Not quite the same but similar if someone today who had never played ut99 loaded it up for the first time and went, "wth... are you kidding me with this crap? Where is my double dodge jump, where is my lg, where is my double jump and what's with this slow movement?"

Expectations and graphics change but pay homage to your fps past beer!

Ya i do and everytime, i have a logitech g15 keyboard,This keyboard have a lcd screen.Whit few program i was able to set all the info i need about my comp.Cpu temp,Gpu temp,Mobo temp,Memory i use,and fan speed, and i have those info anytime and in the middle of a game play.

My Cpu run at 28 on desktop and 33 to 34 on full load
My Gpu run at 36 on desktop and 48 to 60 on full load (depend on game i play)

So everything is very find there, and i also use 2 led fan 120mm to cold down my case
