I was told that the video resolution affects the mouse sens in game .
I never heard of this .

Yes, this is true - go from 1024x768 to 1600x1200 & it will make a big inpact in your mouse movements . However something new i have encountered... I recentely purchased a Zalman vu9000cu for my x800pro & now i'm able to OC the gpu/memory to very high clocks (550/550MHz). The mouse behaves the same way as w. high res. (got my P4c 3.4 Non )
And now for the bonus ---> Update your TAM server to TAMv3.1
