Tribal Instinct

Is anyone else missing hit sounds? I'm hitting people square in the chest/hitbox and not hearing anything that indicates I've done damage? My only way of telling is like when I bounce them with a shock beam, I know I've hit em.

I will say that the problem is sporadic, and it started about a month ago, but it seems to be getting worse. Anyone else having this problem?

Would it help if I reinstalled UT comp, or even the newer version of UT comp?
