Re: still alive

Pooooooop!

Life has been good. I have since graduated college (with 2 degrees in 4 years, pretty happy about that) and working at a job that I live 2 minutes away from and I don't need to wear shoes. It doesn't get much better! How is everyone else?

What nights do you all play?

still alive

I was thinking about -ti- the other day and all the fun I had playing UT with you people a few years ago. Looks like you are still around! Anyone still playing UT? I have been into Left 4 Dead 2 recently.

So, how is everyone? 8D

Re: New help with my computer guys:

Well ClamAV was available for Windows, but it looks like the current version is deprecated while they are working on a new one. *shrug* You could install linux and not worry about the AV software... =) Plus UT2k4 runs on linux natively.

Re: White House Collecting User Data

Pork if you are running firefox, install these add-ons: Ad Block Plus, Ghostery, and BetterPrivacy. Ad Block Plus does what it says, blocks add, and it does a pretty damn good job. Ghostery tells you what web-trend analyzers are watching you surf the internet and specifically that website. You can t...

Sweet! Thanks for posting! I like supporting companies that take care of their customers. I will store this upstairs in my long-term storage. =)

Buffy,

I have been in lurker mode for quite a while. No more gaming for me, but I pop in from time to time still. =)

Prozac,

See you soon! hahaha

Re: Don't come to Texas!

Come on up to Vermont! It has been in the 60's for quite a while now! We have had a few 80-something degree days, but they are few and far between. =)

Re: unlimited texting?

Well, the article did say that the parents thought that they had blocked texting, so that could be an error on the service provider (which wouldn't surprise me, Verizon has messed with me and my bill so many times!). Really I don't think a 13 year old needs a cell phone, they can't drive yet. Either...

Re: What did they think would happen?!?!

Either of you use Google services? Or Microsoft, Yahoo! etc? Their TOS was not unique, it is really just Facebook playing the CYA (cover your ass) game. Funny thing is if they had that clause from the start this whole mess probably would never have surfaced!
